Our Purpose!
This site is designed primarily for the purpose of recording and sharing the family histories of Jerry L. Wood III and Shawn Friedrich Thompson (both born in 2004). Other associated families will be listed here as well. We would like to ultimately be the one source where all can go to find any family members originating or passing through Northampton and Hertford counties of North Carolina. This will include Blacks, Whites, Indians and any others. Many of the White families may hold keys to gaps in Black family records as their ancestors may have been slave owners.
