On 1 Jan 1907 Willis was deeded 50 acres of Land (see the deed). This land in Hertford County, Murfreesboro NC was described as the "part of the Elisha Joyner land" which was conveyed from T.W. Sewell and wife Mattie L. Sewell bearing date 1 Jan 1905 Book 26 pg 23g.  Land on the North by Adolphus Warren, on the east by Cooke, on the south by Wiley Carter and on the west by Warren heirs.
