He was a Farmer who owned 11-13 acres of land in the Kirby District of Northampton County.
Religion: Member of Swamp Chapel Baptist Church which became First Baptist Church of Severn, NC. Member, trustee of New Bethel Baptist Church, Boykins, VA. Lived next door to the church. Family migrated from NC to VA between 1914 (when he sold his land to a Murphy) and 1920.
Was a Janitor at the time of his death, age between 80-81, died of natural causes. He died on February 2, 1931. He was attended to by the Purviance Funeral Establishment and buried in VICTORIA cemetery, a plot of land the church bought and named for his daughter VICTORIA.

He is 73, they have been married 50 years, she was born May 1830, and states ?? She is the mother of only 4 children, 2 are alive. Millard age 12 is listed as their son. There is some relationship between Harrison Boone who married Susan Clark and Henderson Boone, what it is is not known at the present time. I believe both had sons named for them. They married prior to the ending of slavery and their marriages were registered. There were a Harrison and a Henderson born in the 1850’s at the time Sr Harrison and Sr Henderson married. Harrison Boone b. 1854-57may have migrated to Virginia. He had sons Charles and James. It is possible Harrison and Henderson were brothers.
